PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
MASTERS OF FINE ARTS:
COSTUME AND SCENIC DESIGN
MAY 2012
I graduated from California State University, Fullerton in May of 2012 with my Masters of Fine Arts in Costume and Scenic design. Ive been employed ever since in the arts.
CERRITOS COLLEGE
COSTUME SHOP MANAGER/
RESIDENT DESIGNER
AUGUST 2012 - PRESENT
I am the Costume shop manager and resident designer for Cerritos College. I maintain shop and facilities, manage budgets, and over hire per production. As the resident designer I am in charge of consulting with each director to create the specific look for each production. Scratching the design itch while also helping fan the flames of young upcoming designers at the school and giving them a chance to grow in the arts.
TORRANCE THEATRE CO.
JUNE 2013Â - PRESENT
Since design Chicago in 2010, I had a home with the Torrance Theatre Company. Working well together, we realized this was a dream pairing and I slowly began designing their entire season. Its an opportunity to give the community a taste of quality theatre that thinks about every detail in each production, including the costumes ;)
FREELANCE DESIGN/Â
CUSTOM ORDERS/
PROFESSIONAL ALTERATIONS
MAY 2008Â - PRESENT
As a Designer, I don't just work in theatre. I love working with a single client to create a custom look for an event or performance. I also love making people feel amazing in their own clothes. Its all about the fit so alterations are an easy solution to feeling your best!
